2. Use a #1 Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver and two included 8-mm M4 flat head screws to attach
a hold-down bracket to the chassis. Ensure that each hold-down bracket is positioned at the
lower rear corners of the chassis. Also, secure the Universal Rack Rail bracket and rack bracket
on to the chassis as shown in the following illustration.

3. Continue with Step 5 “Align the chassis with the Universal Rack Rail and slide the switch chassis
into the rack.” on page 4 through Step 7 “To ship the rack, fasten two shipping screws on each
of the Universal Rack Rail at the back of the rack.” on page 5 of the HP 4U/7U Universal Rail
Kit Installation procedure.
