Configuration Examples
Using the HP 2750W PoE+ zl Power Supply (J9830A)
The J9830A power supply provides PoE/PoE+ power for zl switches. The
physical configurations are like those seen for the HP 5400R zl2 switches with
the other power supplies. The J9830A operates at 115-127V and 200-240V
supplying 2500 watts of PoE/PoE+ power.
Note on Mixing
Power
Supplies
Mixing of power supplies is supported, but not recommended. For more
information, see “PoE/PoE+ Chassis Switch zl2 Power Supplies” on page 14-3 .
The following example shows how many PoE/PoE+ ports can be powered at
various wattages for the J9830A power supply operating at 115-127 volts.
The next example shows how many PoE/PoE+ ports can be powered at
various wattages for the J9830A power supply operating at 200-240 volts.
