2562 Port <port-num>: PSE detected.
Port PoE disabled.
warning PSE = Power Sourcing Equipment.
A PoE+ port is linked to a PoE port (switch-to-switch link). The port
detects that the connected port is capable of providing PoE, so
PoE delivery for that port is disabled. It appears as an error even
though it is expected behavior for switch to switch links. If this
occurs on a port that was connected to a PoE device, it might
indicate a port PoE problem.
To recover PoE functionality on that port without rebooting:
1.On the PoE chassis, disable PoE power (no power-over-
ethernet [port-num])
2.Power down the affected module (savepower module <slot>)
3.Power up the affected module (no savepower module <slot>)

2564 PoE pre-std-detect mode is
enabled. Power may be applied
to non-PDs. Use only with legacy
devices. To disable power on
specific ports, use “no interface
<port-list> power”.
warn This message displays when the PoE pre-std-detect command is
enabled on the switch.
