Use combo enable to activate the copper or fiber combo port.
Syntax
combo enable { copper | fiber }
Default
The copper combo port is activated.

copper: Activates the copper(electrical) combo port.
fiber: Activates the fiber (optical) combo port.
Usage guidelines
Combo interfaces are logical interfaces. A combo interface comprises one fiber combo port and one
copper combo port. The two ports cannot work simultaneously. If one port is enabled, the other port is
automatically disabled.
In an IRF fabric, if only one physical interface is bound to the IRF port and the physical interface is a
combo interface, you cannot use the combo enable command to activate the corresponding combo
interface on the subordinate device.
