port isolate-user-vlan promiscuous
Use port isolate-user-vlan promiscuous to configure a port to operate in promiscuous mode in a VLAN
and assign the port to the VLAN. If the VLAN is an isolate-user-VLAN, this command automatically
assigns the port to the secondary VLANs associated with the isolate-user-VLAN.
Use undo port isolate-user-vlan to cancel the promiscuous operating mode of a port.
Syntax
port isolate-user-vlan vlan-id promiscuous
undo port isolate-user-vlan
Default
A port does not operate in promiscuous mode in a VLAN.

Parameters
vlan-id: Specifies a VLAN ID ranging from 1 to 4094, excluding VLAN 1.
Usage guidelines
When the device executes the port isolate-user-vlan promiscuous command, the following guidelines
apply:
If the port is an access port and the specified VLAN is an isolate-user-VLAN associated with
secondary VLANs, the device changes the link type of the port to hybrid, sets the isolate-user-VLAN
as the PVID of the port, and assigns the port to the associated secondary VLANs.
If the port is a trunk or hybrid port, the device assigns the port to the isolate-user-VLAN and the
associated secondary VLANs without changing the link type and PVID of the port.
