2. Advertising a summary route
Perform this task to manually configure a summary route.
For example, suppose contiguous subnets routes 10.1.1.0/24, 10.1.2.0/24, and 10.1.3.0/24 exist in the
routing table. You can create a summary route 10.1.0.0/16 on GigabitEthernet 0/1 to advertise the
summary route instead of the more specific routes.
