2. Configuring OSPF areas
Required.
Configure an OSPF area, specify the network segment
included in the area, so as to enable OSPF on the
interface attached to the specified network segment.
NOTE:
This task allows you to configure one or more interfaces
in an area. You need to enable OSPF on the interface
whose primary IP address belongs to the specified
network segment; otherwise, OSPF cannot run on the
interface.
3. Configuring OSPF interfaces
Optional.
Configure timers and OSPF authentication parameters
on the OSPF interface.
4. Displaying OSPF interface information
Optional.
5. Displaying OSPF neighbor information
Optional.
To enable a router to run an OSPF process, you must specify a router ID, the unique identifier of the router
in the AS. If no global router ID is configured, the highest loopback interface IP address, if any, is used
as the router ID. If no loopback interface IP address is available, the highest physical interface IP address
is used, regardless of the interface status. Use loopback interface IP address as a router ID to increase the
network availability.
Configuring OSPF globally
1. Select Network > OSPF from the navigation tree.
The OSPF configuration page appears.
