Configuring a time range
A time range resource defines a time range, which can be referenced by an ACL to control when a rule
is effective.
You can create a maximum of 256 time ranges, each having a maximum of 32 periodic statements and
12 absolute statements. If a time range has multiple statements, its active period is calculated as follows:
1. Combining all periodic statements.
2. Combining all absolute statements.
3. Taking the intersection of the two statement sets as the active period of the time range.
Configuring a time range in the Web interface
1. Select Security > Time Range from the navigation tree.
The time range list page appears. If a time range includes the current time, Active is displayed in
Time Range Description column for this time range. Otherwise, Inactive is displayed.
