alert: Enables the system to warn you about operations that might bring undesirable results such as file
corruption or data loss.
quiet: Disables the system from warning you about any operation.
Usage guidelines
When the operation mode is set to quiet, the system does not warn for any file operation. To avoid
misoperation, use the alert mode.
