OAP module configuration commands
The commands in this chapter apply only to distributed devices that hold LB modules, such as 7500,
9500, and 12500 switches, and 8800 routers.
Unless otherwise stated, the term "OAP module" in this chapter refers to LB modules.
oap connect
Use oap connect to access the CLI of the OAP module from the device.
Syntax
In standalone mode:
oap connect slot slot-number
In IRF mode:
oap connect chassis chassis-number slot slot-number

Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies the number of the slot where an OAP system resides. (In standalone mode.)
chassis chassis-number slot slot-number: Specifies a card on an IRF member device. (In IRF mode.)
Usage guidelines
To return to the device's CLI, press Ctrl+K.
Examples
# Access the CLI of the OAP module in slot 3 from the device in standalone mode.
<Sysname> oap connect slot 3
Press CTRL+K to quit.
Connected to OAP!
# Access the CLI of the OAP module in slot 5 of the member device 2 in IRF mode.
<Sysname> oap connect chassis 2 slot 5
Press CTRL+K to quit.
Connected to OAP!
oap management-ip
Use oap management-ip to configure the management IP address of an OAP module.
Use undo oap management-ip to restore the default.
