Configuring unified multisystem management
Overview
You can install a LB module into a device to offload the load balancing service from the device. This
module has an independent operating system.
Unified multisystem management enables you to configure LB modules in the device's Web interface.
To implement unified multisystem management, configure the device as the ACSEI server and the LB
module as the ACSEI client. After the module registers with the device, the module data appears on the
Device Management tab in the Web interface of the device, as shown in Figure 63.
You can click the

e link for the module to configure the module.

Configuration guidelines
• Configure the unified management VLAN before enabling the ACSEI function.
• Configure the same unified management VLAN for the LB module and 7500 switch.
• Create a local Web user with a privilege user level of 1 on the device and the LB card. For more
information about configuring local users, see Security Configuration Guide.
