Parameters
track-entry-number: Specifies a track entry to be monitored by its number, which ranges from 1 to 1024.
Usage guidelines
This command and the standby interface command cannot be configured at the same time. If you have
configured the standby interface command on the active interface, you cannot configure the standby
track command on both the active interface and its standby interface. If you have associated an interface
with a track entry, you cannot configure the interface as the active interface or a standby interface.
One interface can be associated with one track entry. If you execute this command multiple times on one
interface, the new configuration will overwrite the original one.
You can associate an interface with a nonexistent track entry. The track function can take effect after the
track entry is created with the track command.
Examples
# Configure interface GigabitEthernet 0/1 to be associated with track entry 1.
