You can use one of the following methods to upgrade system software:

This approach causes service interruption.
Installing hotfixes System software images
Hotfixes repair software defects without requiring a
reboot or service interruption.
Hotfixes do not add new features to system software
images.

It is a user-friendly approach to upgrading the entire
system software image.
Upgrading from the Boot
menu

Use this method when the device cannot correctly start
up. For information about this upgrading method, see
the release notes for your device.
