Specify the filename of the local system software image file, which must have the
extension .app or .bin.
File Type
Specify the type of the next-startup system software image:
Main—The main system software image has higher priority than the backup
system software image at startup.
Backup–Used at startup if the main system software image is unavailable.
If a file with the same
name already exists,
overwrite it without any
prompt
Specify whether to overwrite the file with the same name.
If you do not select the option, when a file with the same name exists, the system
does not upgrade the software but displays an error message: "The file has
existed."
Reboot after the
upgrade is finished
Specify whether to reboot the device to make the upgraded software take effect
after the system software image is uploaded.

Step Command Remarks
1. Use FTP or TFTP to transfer the
system software image to the
root directory of the storage
medium.
See "Configuring FTP" or
"Configuring TFTP."
The image file must be saved in the
root directory for a successful
upgrade.
If the storage medium has been
partitioned, save the image file to
the root directory of the first
partition.
2. Specify the file as the startup
system software image in user
view.
