3.1 Installing the SPE-FWM-200
1. Locate the slot where you will install the SPE-FWM-200, and remove the blank panel from the
position. This manual describes installing the SPE-FWM-200 to slot 2.
2. Push the module (with the components facing on) into the slot along the guide rails until the
positioning hole of the module is seated onto the positioning pin on the backplane. Push the ejector
levers inward to lock the module in place.
3. Fasten the captive screws on the module with a Philips screwdriver.

3.2 Removing the SPE-FWM-200
1. Loosen the captive screws on the module with a Philips screwdriver until all spring pressure is
released.
2. Hold the ejector levers of the module and push them outward. Gently pull the module out of the slot
along the guide rails.
3. Put the removed module on an antistatic workbench with the PCB side facing upward or place it
in an antistatic bag. If you do not install a new SPE-FWM-200 in the slot, install a blank panel to
prevent dust from entering the chassis and ensure normal ventilation in the router.
4 Logging in to the SPE-FWM-200
Before logging in to the SPE-FWM-200, configure the AUX user interface of the module.
