NOTE:

• By default, the port number for super administrators and administrators is 444, and that for normal

users is 443. These two port numbers are configurable. If you do not specify the management port when

inputting the address of the SSL VPN management page in the address bar of the IE browser, you access

the normal user interface.

• The initial username and password of a super administrator are both administrator.

• The super administrator can create administrators and configure their login passwords. The

administrator can create normal users and configure their login usernames and passwords. For more

5 Upgrading the IM-SSL

The IM-SSL supports software upgrade through the console port on the module and service port on the

router. For more information about how to upgrade the IM-SSL, see HP Security Modules Software

Upgrade Guide.

The IM-SSL adopts independent boot and application programs, so the boot menu is different from the

router. To upgrade the application program of the IM-SSL, use one of the following ways:

1. Remote upgrade at the command line interface (CLI)

• Use the FTP/TFTP protocol through the console port of the IM-SSL and the service port of the router.

2. Local upgrade through the boot menu

• Use the XMODEM protocol through the console port of the IM-SSL

• Use the FTP/TFTP protocol through the console port of the IM-SSL and the service port of the router..
