NOTE:

• The IM-SSL does not support software upgrade through a main processing unit (MPU) of the router.

• The IM-SSL does not provide management interface on its panel, you need to use a crossover ethernet

cable to connect the service port (for example, GigabitEthernet3/0/1) of the router to the PC (FTP or

TFTP server), and ensure that the module can communicate with the PC at Layer 3.

• Using the XMODEM protocol to upgrade the module is relatively slow. To reduce the up

rade time, HP

recommends you to upgrade the module through the FTP/TFTP protocol.
