Introduction to stateful failover states
Stateful failover includes the following states:
• Silence: Indicates that the device has just started and is waiting for the stable running of the system,
or the state between synchronization and independence.
• Independence: Indicates that the silence timer expires, but no failover link is established.
• Synchronization: Indicates that the device has completed state negotiation with the other device
and is ready for data backup.
