Creating a Static ARP Entry
Select Firewall > ARP Management > ARP Table from the navigation tree to enter the page shown
in Figure 101. C
lick Add to enter the New Static ARP Entry page. Select the Advanced Options checkbox
to expand advanced configuration items, as shown in Figure 102.

VLAN ID
Type a VLAN ID and specify a port for the static ARP entry.
IMPORTANT:
The VLAN ID must be the ID of the VLAN that has already been created, and the port
must belong to the VLAN. The corresponding VLAN interface must have been
created.

Instance
Type the name of the VPN instance to which the static ARP entry belongs.

1. Network requirements
As shown in Figure 103, h
osts are connected to the firewall, which is connected to the router through
GigabitEthernet 0/1 belonging to VLAN 10. The IP address of the router is 192.168.1.1/24. The MAC
address of the router is 00e0-fc01-0000.
To enhance communication security between the firewall and the router, a static ARP entry for the router
needs to be configured on the firewall.
