Applying a CAR list to an interface
Select Firewall > Traffic Policing > Apply from the navigation tree to enter the page for displaying the
CAR lists applied to interfaces, as shown in Figure 130. C

Interface Name Specify the interface to which a CAR list is to be applied.
Direction
Specify the direction in which a CAR list is to be applied.
• Inbound: Applies the CAR list to the packets received on the specified
interface.
• Outbound: Applies the CAR list to the packets sent out the specified
interface.
CAR List Index Specify the index of the CAR list to be applied.
CIR Set the committed information rate (CIR).
CBS
Set the committed burst size (CBS), that is, the size of burst traffic when the
actual average rate is no bigger than CIR.
