Route filtering configuration example
Network requirements
As shown in Figure 169:
• All the routers in the network run OSPF. The AS is divided into three areas.
• Firewall works as the ABR between Area 0 and Area 1. Router B works as the ABR between Area
0 and Area 2.
• Configure Router C as an ASBR to redistribute external routes (static routes), and configure a filter
policy on Router C to filter out route 3.1.3.0/24.
• Configure a route policy on Firewall to filter route 10.5.1.0/24.

Configuration procedure
1. Configure IP addresses for interfaces (omitted).
2. Configure OSPF basic functions (see “OSPF basic functions configuration example”).
3. Configure OSPF to redistribute routes.
