4. Verify the configuration
After the configuration, Host B can be pinged through on Host A. You can use the display vrrp verbose
command to verify the configuration.

The output shows that in VRRP group 1 LB A is the master, LB B is the backup and packets sent from Host

If interface Ten-GigabitEthernet 0/0.1 through which LB A connects to the Internet is not available, you
can still successfully ping Host B on Host A.
