Parameters
10: Sets the interface speed to 10 Mbps. Fiber combo ports do not support the 10 keyword.
100: Sets the interface speed to 100 Mbps. Fiber combo ports do not support the 100 keyword.
1000: Sets the interface speed to 1000 Mbps.
auto: Enables the interface to negotiate a speed with its peer.
Description
Use the speed command to set the speed of an Ethernet interface.
Use the undo speed command to restore the default.
For a copper Ethernet port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the speed of the peer
interface.
For an fiber port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the rate of a hot-swappable
transceiver module.
