Parameters
text: Interface description, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 80 characters.
Description
Use description to set the description for the VT interface.
Use undo description to restore the default.
By default, a VT interface is described in the form of interface name Interface, for example,
Virtual-Template1 Interface.
Examples
# Set the description for interface Virtual-Template 10 to virtual-interface.
<Sysname> system-view

brief: Displays brief interface information. If you do not specify this keyword, this command displays
detailed interface information.
down: Displays information about interfaces in the DOWN state and the causes. If you do not specify
this keyword, this command displays information about interfaces in all states.
|: Filters command output by specifying a regular expression. For more information about regular
expressions, see Fundamentals Configuration Guide.
