Parameters
10: Sets the interface speed to 10 Mbps.
100: Sets the interface speed to 100 Mbps.
1000: Sets the interface speed to 1,000 Mbps.
auto: Enables the interface to negotiate a speed with its peer.
Description
Use speed to set the speed of an Ethernet interface.
Use undo speed to restore the default.
By default, an Ethernet interface automatically negotiates a speed with the peer.
For an Ethernet electrical port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the speed of the peer
interface.
For an optical port, use the speed command to set its speed to match the rate of a pluggable optical
transceiver.
