HP StorageWorks Fabric OS 6.3.3d Release Notes (5697-0493, May 2010 - includes all 6.3.0x versions)

Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0c
Some CNAs expect Unsolicited FIP Discovery Advertisements from the
FCoE switch even when the D bit is set. Because the 2408 switch and
10/24 blade do not provide that information, they may log out of the
switch after several seconds.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0c
After upgrade to Fabric OS 6.2.x, the 400 MP router, or multiprotocol
router blade observes a credit problem on virtual channel 0, leading
to frame drop on FCIP and FC FastWrite, and the host being unable to
see the target.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0c
Workaround prior to upgrade: Start
the rekey sessions for the LUNs on
an individual basis.
Pending rekey sessions are not persisted when the EE hosting node fails
over. If HA Cluster failover occurs before keys are successfully created
for all LUNs under rekey, the customer will have to restart the rekey in-
dividually for those LUNs for which the rekey sessions could not be
automatically started.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0c
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Restore the Master Key a second
time.
When all EEs in an EG are zeroized and a restore Master Key is attemp-
ted from recovery smart cards, the EE is not put online.

Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0d
HP StorageWorks 2408 FCoE switch with Fabric OS 6.3.0 through
6.3.0c, 6.3.1 or 6.3.1a factory installed will panic on future firmware-
download operation. This should not be an issue for the HP switch,
since none of these versions of Fabric OS were ever factory installed
in this switch. This is not an issue if any of these versions are field in-
stalled.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0d
Due to a race condition, HA recover time during hot code load is very
long. This could lead to a link reset or frame drop. This is more likely
to occur in a virtual fabric environment with the connecting switch oper-
ating under single virtual channel credit model, but is not limited to that
environment.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0d
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Manually re-enable ports.
All ports on the HP StorageWorks DC SAN Director 48 port 8Gb FC
blade will become persistently disabled after upgrading from Fabric
OS 6.2.x to 6.3.x if virtual fabrics is disabled and fmsmode is enabled.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0d
In a very rare situation, the HP StorageWorks DC SAN Backbone dir-
ector reboots continuously due to corruption of Access Gateway config-
uration files. RASlog shows [HAM-1007] and [HAM-1008] entries. This
occurs only with Fabric OS 6.3.0x versions.
Fixed in Fabric OS 6.3.0d
Workaround prior to upgrade:
Reboot switch.
CP fails to boot on DC SAN director, DC04 SAN director, and 8/80
SAN switch on power up or during hafailover and CF access error:
HDA: drive not ready message may be seen on the console.
