Powering off the 4/256 SAN Director
To power off the 4/256 SAN Director gracefully:
1. Shut down the 4/256 SAN Director using the sysShutdown command.
2. Power off the chassis by positioning both AC power switches to “0” (LEDs inside AC power
switches should turn off). To maintain the ground connection, leave both power cords connected
to the chassis and to an electrical outlet.
swDir::admin> sysshutdown
This command will shutdown the operating systems on your switch.
You are required to power-cycle the switch in order to restore operation.
