Power supply is either
healthy or does not have
incoming power.
Check the power LED.
Flashing amber Power supply is about to
fail due to a failing fan
inside the power supply.
Replace power supply.
Failure No light
(LED is off)
Power supply is either
healthy or does not have
incoming power.
Check the power LED.
Steady amber Either the 4/256 SAN
Director has power but
this power supply does
not (AC switch may be
off), or the power supply
has failed.
Ensure that the correct AC
power switch is on and power
supply is seated. If amber light
continues, replace power
supply.
Flashing amber Power supply is unable
to supply power.
Verify that the incoming power
meets power requirements
(refer to ”Power specifications”
on page 198).
