To import names, complete the following steps.
1. Select Configure > Names.
The Configure Names dialog box displays.
2. Click Import.
The Import Files dialog displays.
3. Browse to the .properties file location.
4. Select the .properties file and click Import.
5. Click OK to save your work.
6. Click OK on the confirmation message.
Editing a user account
When migrating to DCFM if a default user role has the User Management privilege with Read-Write
permission, all new privileges are automatically assigned to that default user role. However, if a
default user role does not have the User Management privilege with Read-Write permission, all new
privileges must be manually assigned to the user role.
To manually assign new privileges to a default user role, complete the following steps.
1. Select SAN > Users.
The Server Users dialog box displays.
2. Select the user role you want to edit and click Edit (below the Roles area).
The User Role Properties dialog box displays with the current privileges for the selected user
role.
3. Select the privilege (press CTRL and click to select multiple features) you want to assign in the
Available Privileges table.
The new privileges provided in DCFM 10.3.0 are as follows:
• Active Session Management
• CEE Management
• FCoE Management
• Host Management
• Zoning - Set Edit Limits
4. Choose one of the following options to assign Read and Write access or Read only access.
• To assign the Read and Write access, click the right arrow next to the Read & Write
Privileges list.
• To assign the Read Only access, click the right arrow next to the Read Only Privileges list.
5. Click OK to save the role and close the User Roles Properties dialog box.
If a user assigned to the role you are editing is logged in, a message displays. Click Yes to
continue. DCFM forces the user to log out.
