In the faceplate display, open the Switch menu and select Load Firmware. 2. In the Firmware Upload dialog, click Browse to browse and select the firmware file to be uploaded. 3. Click Start to begin the firmware load process. A message will warn you that the switch will be reset to activate the firmware. 4.

This allows you to choose the type of reset and whether the activation will be disruptive (Reset Switch command) or non-disruptive (Hotreset command).
