Version 2.3.10 change log
This change log documents the changes made from Version 2.2.2 to 2.3.10, which includes:
• Support for ESXi 5.0
• Expanded Linux Kernel support
• RHEL 4 is no longer supported
• Support for IO requests up to 1MB (up from 128KB)
• New utility, fio-sure-erase. For more information, see the Linux or Windows user guide.
• Support for PCIe gen3 with the fio-pci-check utility
• ioManager is now available in a separate download folder
• Fixed various bugs, including:
o When fio-snmp-agentx was run, the blkid could use up to 100% of the CPU.
o Unaligned DMA requests in ESX(i) 4.1 resulted in an "assertion failed" error when the ioMemory
VSL was run for an extended period.
o TRIM (discard) was not working on RHEL 6.
o BLKGETSIZE ioctal calls failed when called from 32-bit userspace.
o A NUMA resource issue with Windows operating systems
