The hot-plug capability for removing and replacing PCI/PCI-X cards is not yet enabled on your hp 9000
rp4440 server. If you wish to add, remove, or replace a PCI/PCI-X card, read the complete instructions in your
Operation and Maintenance Guide on the enclosed Documentation CD before attempting this procedure.

Hewlett Packard PA-8800 based servers and workstations require the December 2003 (or later) release of the
following bundles and individual patches:
