Activity log messages
The activity log for each user contains up to 100 messages. The
activity log for the administrator contains up to 200 messages. When
the maximum number of messages has been reached, new
messages begin overwriting the oldest messages.
The icons shown below appear in the activity log to identify the type of
message:
See “Using the activity log” on page 113 for information on how to
view, save, copy, clear, and print the activity log.
normal
Normal activity; no action required.
warning
The function completed partially. No action is required. For
example, you sent an e-mail message but one recipient
could not be reached.
error
The function failed. Some action is required, either by the
user or the administrator. Generally, the digital sender can
still be used for other functions.
fatal
A severe problem. This requires administrator intervention
and possibly a call to HP customer support.
