The address book backup did

Check the contents of the
Notify.dat file that is created
by the operation. The file
contains a report of
success or failure (see
“Backing up” on page 94).
Make sure all cabling is
securely connected.
Make sure you have
enough space on the hard
drive where you want to
store the backup copy.
Backup requires an
average of 50 to 100 MB of
free hard disk space.
If the problem persists,
contact HP customer
support.
