Problems with Your Autoloader

The environment in which the autoloader operates has changed
q Has the autoloader been moved recently?
q Has the environment changedunusually hot, cold, damp or dry?
q Has there been dust or toner from a laser printer or photocopier near the
autoloader?
1 Clean the drives tape heads with a cleaning cartridge and try the operation
again.
2 Check the environmental conditions against the autoloaders specified
limits. If necessary, move the autoloader to a more suitable site.
3 If the problem is still there, call customer service.
There are other problems
q Has a new operating system been installed in the host computer?
q Have any cables been disconnected and reconnected?
The problem could lie with the host or the connections. Call customer service.
