Known Problems and Workarounds for ACC Products
Known Problems and Workarounds for
ACC Products
This section describes known problems and workarounds for
version B.03.01 of the ACC software products.
Due to potential installation problems, independent
installation of the X.25/9000 (J2793B) and the ACC and
X.25/9000 Software Bundle (Z7476AA) products is not
currently supported.
When installing the ACC and X.25/9000 Software Bundle,
the X.25/9000 software automatically loads.
At this time the X.25 and X.25/ACC subsystems do not
support the concurrent usage of the X.25/9000 cards (such
as J2792A, J2794A, J2815A, J3525A, J3526A and J3015A
cards) and the Advanced Communications Controller (ACC)
cards in the same system.
Do not install both PSI (or J3525A, J2815A, etc) and ACC
cards in the same system.
Before installing the ACC and X.25/9000 Software Bundle
(Z7476AA), remove any X.25/9000 product.
If the ACC and X.25/9000 Software Bundle (Z7476AA)
product is installed, do not install the X.25/9000 (J2793B)
product also.
Special ACC release patch. This special patch will be available
before this 3.01 release reaches the customers. Therefore, no
workarounds are provided for the following known problems.
Please install the required patch.
Data corruption during very heavy traffic on 4-port T1/E1
cards.
Expedited data over Permanent Virtual Circuit (PVC) does
not work.
System may hang during very heavy X.25 traffic.
