Compatibility Information and Installation Requirements
OS Platform and Version Compatibility
• This release only runs on HP-UX 11.00 operating system (both
32/64-bit). If you are currently running HP-UX 9.x or 10.x, you
must upgrade to HP-UX 11.00 before installing this release.
• Either 32-bit or 64-bit ACC will be installed depending on the
mode of the target operating system. If you decide to install the
64-bit ACC, you must first install or update your operating
system to 64-bit HP-UX 11.00.
Other Requirements
• The ACC software requires some kernel memory (typically
around 4Mb) for its internal ZCOM memory tables and buffers
as well as virtual memory to run the ACC daemon processes.
The system should have a minimum of 8 Mb of free memory for
running the 32-bit ACC, or 12 Mb for running the 64-bit ACC.
A large ACC configuration may require much more memory.
Disk Space Required
• The following table shows the actual disk space used during
incremental installation of various ACC products. Product
Z7478AA is installed first as a base. The figures should be used
as a reference only, as there will be differences depending on
the structure and contents of your file system.
