The ZCOM shared library libzcom_c.sl
is not provided to the customers. It
needs to be added to the packaging and
the transition links file.
This library is shipped as of this release.

The ACC Installation and Configuration
Guide for the ACC Base Software
states: “If ZCOMMEMSIZE is large
enough to hold the internal tables, but
is not large enough to handle the
buffering between the ACC Mux card
and the ACC Mux Subsystem drivers,
the subsystem will still function, but the
performance may be degraded.”
In reality, the ZCOM subsystem will not
start up at all.
In this release, not only will a warning
message be logged if the Buffer-Pool size
exceeds the remaining available free
memory, but the Buffer-Pool size will
automatically be increased and a
message logged with its new size when
the Buffer-Pool is smaller than the
available memory.

The ZCOM start up does not wait for all
the cards to start up. If a device failed to
start up, the zmasterd utility returns
without knowing if the card start up
retry is successful.
The zmon utility is modified to wait for
the start up of the ZCOM Interface to
complete before returning control back to
the zmasterd utility. If the start up
procedure failed, it is retried 5 times,
after which the zmon utility gives up.
Furthermore, the NACC (nacc0 and
nacc1) drivers are also modified not to
send up the ZCOM_IRCODE_RES
message to zmon utility, when the driver
is in the LLIO mode.
