Advanced Communications Controller Release Notes for the B.03.01 Release
Patches and Fixes for this Version

HDLC/LAP-B (ABM) or X.25 protocol
sends REJ on receipt of an I-frame with
duplicate N(S). This causes reject
frames to be transmitted even though
no frames were missed.
This problem was spotted in dump files.
In addition to the incorrect REJ, the
retry mechanism for the unsatisfied
REJ is incorrect.
The firmware has been altered so it does
not transmit a REJ on receipt of a
duplicate I-frame. Duplicate I-frames are
acknowledged and ignored.
Two new events have been added to the
finite state machine. The actions are
similar to receiving an S-frame in the
same state.

When a program’s primary ZLU queue
is full, such as, at the limit set in the
.answ file, and a terminal sends up a
message to be received by that same
program ZLU the DAM reports: Card x
ZLU x Queue limited for inbound
data.
The problem is that the message reports
the card and ZLU of the terminal as
having a problem. However, it is the
program ZLU that has the problem.
The DAM driver is modified to display
the program ZLU when the ZLU queue is
full.

On 8-port and 2-port cards, a badly
formatted FRMR is sent, when the
HDLC ABM or X.25 protocol receives an
unrecognized unnumbered frame.
The firmware has been corrected.

Man page for x25stat has an incorrect
