Patches and Fixes for this Version
46. Reference: TPO0h02255
On 4-port cards, the ACC X.25 firmware
occasionally fails in creating a large
number of X.25 virtual circuits in a
short period of time. This problem was
discovered in executing a stress test
that attempts to establish 1024 VCs.
The driver sometimes detected that
write completion messages arrived out
of sequence.
The firmware has been modified to
correctly handle large numbers of call
control requests simultaneously.
47. Reference: TPO0h02263
On 4-port E1/T1 cards, the X.25 virtual
circuit incorrectly times out after
transmission of an Interrupt packet,
even after receiving the interrupt
confirmation.
The firmware has been corrected and
stops the interrupt confirmation timer on
receipt of the confirmation.
48. Reference: TPO0h02273
An X.25 PVC fails to enable itself after
being disabled twice. This only occurs on
the I960 based firmware (4-port cards).
That is:
A PVC is disabled, then enabled.... this
works, it is then disabled again, further
attempts to enable the terminal are
unsuccessful.
The PVC only comes back if the cable is
disconnected or the card restarted.
Mishandling of the cclr flag was found in
the firmware code. The handling of the
flag has been corrected.
