Parameter
Keywords 0, 1 and 2 specify the different modes, as described below:
0: Mode 0 (defaulted): the true strict priority mode.
1: Mode 1: The scheduler may select a packet with lower priority even if there are
packets with higher priority waiting in external memory, if the bandwidth to the
external memory is currently over-subscribed.
2: Mode 2: The scheduler will select packet from internal memory regardless of
any packets waiting in external memory, as long as there are packet waiting in
internal memory. This will lower the bandwidth on the external memory bus.
Description
Use the queue-scheduler command to configure the queue scheduler and
the related parameters.
Use undo queue-scheduler command to restore the default queue scheduler.
By default, switch chooses the mode 0.
Related command: display queue-scheduler.
Example
Configure to perform mode 1 on port 1.
