Parameter
enable: Enables global or port MSTP.
disable: Disables global or port MSTP.
Description
Use the stp command to enable or disable MSTP on a device or a port.
Use the undo stp command to restore the default MSTP state on a device or a
port.
By default, MSTP is disabled on the switch.
After MSTP is enabled, the switch determines to run MSTP in STP-compatible
mode or MSTP mode per your configurations. The switch serves as a transparent
bridge after MSTP is disabled.
After MSTP is enabled, it will dynamically maintain the spanning tree state of the
corresponding VLAN according to the received configuration BPDU until it is
disabled.

Example
Enable MSTP globally.

Disable MSTP on Ethernet5/0/1.
