Parameter
user-name: Specifies a local username with a character string not exceeding 32
characters, excluding “/”, “:”, “*”, “?”, “<” and “>”. The @ character can only
be used once in one username. The pure username (the part before @, namely the
user ID) cannot exceed 24 characters.
service-type: Specifies the service type. telnet means that: the specified user
type is telnet.
ftp means that: the specified user type is ftp. lan-access means
that the specified user type is lan-access which mainly refers to Ethernet accessing
users, 802.1x supplicants for example.
all: All the users.
Description
Use the local-user command to configure a local user and enter the local
user view.
Use the undo local-user command to cancel a specified local user.
By default, no local user.
Related commands: display local-user, server-type.
Example
Add a local user named 3Com1.

local-user password-display-mode { cipher-force | auto }

Parameter
cipher-force: Forced cipher mode specifies that the passwords of all the
accessed users must be displayed in cipher text.
auto: The auto mode specifies that a user is allowed to use the password
command to set a password display mode.
Description
Use the local-user password-display-mode command to configure the
password display mode of all the accessing users.
Use the undo local-user password-display-mode command to cancel the
password display mode that has been set for all the accessing users.
