Cascading configurations
With the Application Recovery Manager XP integration, you can create two additional
copies for each first-level mirror by using a cascading configuration. However, only
first-level mirrors (to a maximum of three) are supported for instant recovery purposes.
This means you can configure the integration to use cascading, but the additional
second-level mirrors (up to six) can only be used for purposes other than ZDB+IR.
The following figure is an example of the cascading configuration, where MU:0,
MU:1 and MU:2 are first-level mirrors, and the six mirrors underneath are the
second-level mirrors:
