Installing the Plastic Shield
The plastic shield is installed to prevent any potential electrical shorts on the system backplane.
Step 1. Position the plastic shield over the four shrouds previously attached to the backplane using the
shield cutouts to orient the shield. See Figure 4-12 on page 51 for details. The part number for the
plastic shield is A6093-40025.
Step 2. Slightly bend the plastic shield and position both the left and right sides of the shield to slip under
the left and right metal braces on the system backplane.
