Version: 2.1 Description The HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) family of Fibre Channel (FC) storage systems is supported for integrated iSCSI connectivity using the MPX200 Multifunction Router. The MPX200 hardware is integrated with up to four EVA storage systems and HP StorageWorks Command View EVA to deliver multiprotocol capabilities. This provides both iSCSI and FC-attached servers access to block storage through an FC and Ethernet IP network simultaneously.
NOTE: For multi-path (redundant blade for high availability), order the full chassis license TA767A.
• Direct-connect support (no Fibre Channel switch required) for iSCSI for up to two EVA storage systems per MPX200 chassis • FCIP non-fabric merge solution when used with B-series integrated routing or B-series routers with Fibre Channel routing • 10 GbE copper cables (new support) (see QuickSpecs or User Guide for details) Product support For the latest product support information, see the Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge (SPOCK) on the HP website: http://www.hp.
Installation instructions For information about installing the MPX200 Multifunction Router, see the HP StorageWorks MPX200 Multifunction Router EVA iSCSI Quick Start Instructions for Microsoft Windows, the HP StorageWorks Multifunction Router FCIP Quick Start Instructions, and the HP StorageWorks MPX200 Multifunction Router User Guide, available on the HP Manuals website: http://www.hp.
User-defined bandwidth for a source array cannot be set greater than 400 MB/s with GUI The source array bandwidth setting may be user-defined up to 1600 MB/s. However, the MPX200 manager for Data Migration Services GUI 3.0.1 does not allow a bandwidth greater than 400 MB/s. This will be corrected in a later release. Use the MPX200 CLI migration command set array to set the source array bandwidth greater than 400 MB/s. iSCSI notes iSCSI Initiators may not reconnect following a blade reboot.
