PIC also refreshes the PIC interface so that the removed fan is no longer reported. For example, if the
system supports five fans, and Fan 3 is removed, PIC will display status for Fan 1, Fan 2, Fan 4, and Fan 5,
with no entry at all for Fan 3.

If a fan is installed or reinstalled, PIC sends an alert to the managing console and refreshes the PIC
interface, as shown below, reporting the newly installed fan.
