Welcome to Corel Photo House 2, a photo-editing and bitmap-creation
program you can use with Corel Print House 3 and other applications.
Corel Photo House makes it easy for you to touch up photographs, add
fun special effects to them, or create your own bitmap images using the
painting tools. With Corel Photo House, you'll find that taking the
picture is just the beginning — making it better is half the fun!
Corel Photo House provides powerful photo-editing and painting tools
but is easy enough for beginners to use. When you need assistance, the
Notebook helps you apply effects, choose a paint brush, and access the
Corel Print House photo collection quickly and easily. For more
flexibility, you can preview special effects before applying them to your
photos and experiment to get the look you want. If you're planning on
painting, you'll find that the paint tools come with a large selection of
brush shapes and sizes to satisfy your creative needs.
Whether you're creating new images or bringing new life to old ones,

To Start Corel Photo House
■ If you created a shortcut to Corel Photo House on your desktop,
double-click the shortcut.
■ In Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, click Start, Programs, HP CD-
Writer Plus, Corel Print House Magic, Corel Photo House 2.
Beginning your work
There are several ways to setup an image for editing or enhancement in
Corel Photo House. You can
■ create a blank image and either paint an image or create a montage
with parts of other images
■ use an existing image file. Corel Photo House allows you to open
several file formats.
■ access your scanning software from Corel Photo House and create an
image file from a photograph or drawing
