4X DDR InfiniBand Gen2 Switch and External InfiniBand Switches
If one c7000 enclosure configuration requires external InfiniBand switches to provide fabric
management, then two such external InfiniBand switches are needed to provide full connectivity.
The two HP BLc 4X DDR InfiniBand Gen2 switches are connected together through the two
external InfiniBand switches. If the configuration also includes an external control node, the
InfiniBand HCA in the control node is connected to Port 24 of the first external InfiniBand switch.
