• Environment:
- A work surface adjacent to the rack.
- The rack is tall, and you might not be able to work comfortably on the
topmost installations without a stable work platform or step stool.
7 Installing the Cable Management Tray
Install the cable management tray as follows:
1. Mount the tray on the end of the rail as shown in Figure 1-2:

View towards the rear of the rack
a. Position the cable management tray on the end of the rail, as shown
in Figure 1-2.
b. Use a flat-bladed screwdriver to secure the captive screw to the rail’s
threaded insert.
2. Attach the 5-inch strap as follows:

a. Position the strap on the tray as shown in Figure 1-3.
b. Use a #2 (medium) Phillips screwdriver to secure the strap to the tray’s
threaded hole, using an M5 x 10 mm machine screw.
